Happy Fathers Day!

Father and Daughter, Philippines"The guys who fear becoming fathers don't understand that fathering is not something perfect men do, but something that perfects the man. The end product of child raising is not the child but the parent." ~ Frank Pittman, "Man Enough"

To my father and to all the fathers in the world, Happy Fathers Day!!!

“Certain is it that there is no kind of affection so purely angelic as of a father to a daughter. In love to our wives there is desire; to our sons, ambition; but to our daughters there is something which there are no words to express.” - Joseph Addison

Fathers, be good to your daughters
Daughters will love like you do
Girls become lovers who turn into mothers
So mothers, be good to your daughters too

Hang In There

Jimmy Piersal, on how to diaper a baby
"Spread the diaper in the position of the diamond with you at bat. Then, fold second base down to home and set the baby on the pitcher's mound. Put first base and third together, bring up home plate and pin the three together. Of course, in case of rain, you gotta call the game and start all over again."

Yeah, I wash my daughter's diapers. Saw the water drops and took this shot :D

DISCLAIMER: That's not a real sparkle!

She's Finally Here!

The Morning After

I was still sleepy when I took this one, I didn't notice that half of my daughter's face was covered by her blanket. Wait a minute, did I say daughter? Oh! Say hello to Naima Sofia :D the latest addition to our family :D the one we're all eagerly waiting for.

She was born in the water, at our home in Valenzuela City on May 26, 2010, 7:55pm. She weigh 7.05 lbs. She was already out when our midwife arrived, so I can say that I delivered my precious angel :D
